===== Dice Number ===== The dice number refers to the number of dice to roll within an entry. Dice entries are provided in the format XdY, where X is the dice number and Y is the number of sides of the dice (corresponding to the [[dice level|dice level]]). The dice number cannot normally be reduced to less than 1. An effect that overrides this rule and reduces the dice number to less than 1 eliminates the entry entirely. Negative dice numbers are not allowed. If at any time a loop, recursion, or similar endlessly-repeatable play is made that affects dice number, it can only modify the dice number to a maximum of +/- 3 regardless of the text on the cards or entries.
