===== Environ ===== An Environ is a type of [[Challenge|Challenge]] in [[exploration|exploration]] [[scenario|scenarios]]. Environs usually cannot [[Move|Move]] and typically cannot be seen from adjacent unblocked [[region|regions]], but the [[DM|DM]] or scenario design may specify exceptions to this. Environs act first in turn order, and their [[Action|Actions]] always target all [[PC|PCs]] in their occupied region unless otherwise specified. Scenario design will specify if an Environ is also able to target certain other Challenges. If an Environ occupies multiple regions, it can target PCs in all occupied regions on each turn; in most cases, however, this is implemented through multiple copies of an Environ instead, who each target individually (mostly to account for localized effects applied to the Environ). Environs have no EP totals and cannot be defeated through damage. They do have [[stat track|Stat Tracks]] and cannot generally play [[reaction|Reactions]] to protect their Tracks from PC Actions. Environs ignore rules for illumination and [[sight|visibility]], though targets may still suffer penalties if they cannot see the Environ. Environs ignore water & swimming rules. Environs start with a 0 in each Stat Track. Each Environ is worth half a PC of equal level. If an Environ occupies multiple regions, it counts as half a PC of equal level per occupied region.
